Journey to London (part 2- on the plane)

There's nothing too exiting on the plane actually......

Its just like a car ride, only It lasts 12 and 1/2 hours long. I located my 34D seat, secure my hand luggage on the storage compartment above my seat and just sat down.

After sitting there for 20 minutes doing nothing in-particular, the crowd which was trying to find their seats while clogging the corridors has dissipated. I'm surprised to find out that the four other seats next to mine are not occupied.

YIPPIE!!!

I get ALL the seats in my row for MYSELF and myself ONLY!!!

WHAHAHAHAHA!!! (supposedly an evil laugh)

After a brief video showed in a small screen behind the passenger seat infront of you explaining all safety precautions, we're ready to take off.

Since this wasn't my first flight, the Force of the plane taxing didn't bothered my. The only thing I had to keep in mind was to keep swallowing saliva to prevent my ears from clogging.

After that. the rest of the ride was quite uneventful. I watched a few movies (HSM3, Painted Skin, Chops, Hairspray) and had 4 hours of sleep in total (I pulled up all the arm rest in the seats next to mine so I could lie down and SLEEP!!).

After 13hours and 10960Km later, I've arrived in London Heathrow airport!

Back to my (old) school

It's been 2 months since I've last visited Sam Tet. That familiar nostalgic feeling gushing up my chest when i stepped into the school. Other than the newly constructed overhead-bridge by the school, it looks the same the last time I've visited.

The hustle and bustle of thousand of students could be heard everywhere around the school. Well as the Chinese say, "We don't enter the Sam Poh monestary without a reason" literally meaning we don't go somewhere without any reason.

Actually I've come to school to ask the school counselor about the IPTA application and other options if I couldn't get into a goverment-funded University. The present counselor, Mr Choon was quite a help. Although he didn't explain into detail about every colleges, he did narrow down to the best choices for me. I'm quite obliged to follow his advice.

Anyways, with time to kill before my mom picks me up later, I decide to give my old band room a visit. The last time I was there, it was a TOTAL mess. I was quite disgusted by the prospect about my beloved band room being in such a disappointing state. The walls being half painted, the floor filled with paint marks and the so called "plastic carpet" ripped off.

It was a surprise to me when I found out that the band room has been fully painted and the floor has been carpeted anew. I even had to take off my shoes before entering ( A new rule!). I happily obliged as the room was in such a neat and tidy demeanour.

KUDOS TO THE NEW COMMITTEE!!

Anyways. going England in just a few more hours! I'm very anxious and excited. Partly scared too. Haha

Keep checking out my blog for updates about my stories in England!!

Experience of work#1

Since I'm not working during this uncannily long post-exam holidays, I've recently agreed to help out my mom with her work.

Well, today's my real "first" day given work to do. The task given by my mom was to clear out all of those old files and organise them into a new and bigger file(s).

What to say? The work was easy but quite tedious in a sense. I've got to clear out all the old files and arrange them in an alphabetical order. After that I've got to copy each of the old files' particulars and arrange all of them in the new one.

It took me about 2 hours just to finish up and organise the old files and compile them up into a single Creditor's file.

Can't write much, I'm going to continue my work with the debtors file......
